Organization Helps People Become Secure in Their Finances
CVAIA Encourages New Investors to Join

LOGAN, Utah -- Cache Valley Area Investors Association, a new organization committed to helping people become financially independent, is teaching people how to manage their finances and is making them aware of the beneficial opportunities for financial progression.
The question is how long you can live at your current income level without having to go to work said Preston Parker, president of CVAIA. Parker said he started this organization because he was tired of people hating their jobs and not knowing that they can change their lives. Parker said he believes people should be financially independent, but not necessarily financially free.
There are two types of income: earned income, which is a salary or wage for a job and passive income, which is primarily the accumulation of investments Parker said. He said when passive income exceeds earned income you get the freedom to choose whatever job you want to do.

“Millionaires love being garbage men,” Parker said.
The main qualification I have for starting this organization is the testimonials of past and current members Parker said. He said all of the members have advanced in this organization in ways such as doing taxes differently, starting a new business or simply becoming more financially wise. Anyone who has high credit can do it and thirty percent of your money is guaranteed with a minimum of $300 back Parker said. Understanding the benefits is necessary in realizing the impact this organization can have on your life Parker said.
“Why do we know what an ameba is but we don’t know how to balance a checkbook? That’s why I started this organization,” Parker said.
Cache Valley Area Investors Association was founded in August 2007 in Logan, Utah by Preston Parker. The organization meets together every other Thursday at the Cache Chamber of Commerce to discuss the financial progress of its members and the future goals of the organization, really focusing on building a strong base for the company Parker said.

Your contact information looks good at the top and bottom (except you spelled CVAIA wrong after your title).

Remember this is a cause-promotion Press Release. The CVAIA and its activities support this cause. Be sure to make that clear, especially in your lead.

Your comparison between financially independent and financially free seems out of place. Either explain it more or omit it.

The quote about garbage man doesn't make sense. It makes it sounds as if I believe millionaires are garbage men, and this is not the case.

It is confusing the relationship between the association and the cause. Make this more clear. I advise you to get someone who knows nothing about this to read it and see if they understand it. If not, you need to rewrite some more.

Make a more clear boilerplate: when the association started, who I am, who can be members, how many members there are, etc.

Sweet story. I am no Preston, but I did notice some editorial things. You forgot to use quotation marks for one of your quotes. I couldn't tell if you wanted to paraphrase what he said.

Monica,
Great job you had some really go information, the only thing I would suggest is that you reword the quote about the garbage man it makes it sound like all millionaires love to be garbage men. other than that though I thought it was great.
